Delete your data

How to delete your data

Any of these deletes your CoPromo account and the data that comes with it. The first two take effect right away.

Creators, here: sign in with Instagram and use the button below.
Creators, from Instagram: go to Settings › Website permissions › Apps and websites, remove CoPromo and ask for your data to be deleted. Instagram tells us and we delete it automatically. You can check the status here with the confirmation code Instagram shows you.
Apps, or anyone: email hello@trycopromo.com from the email on your account (creators: tell us your Instagram username). We confirm within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Your Instagram ID, username, name, profile picture, follower count and audience summary.
Our access token, so we can no longer read your Instagram account.
Your payout method and details, your niches and your notifications.
Roundups no app has paid for, and every draft image you uploaded.
Your sign-in sessions on every device.

What we keep

If apps already paid for slots in one of your roundups, we keep a record of that roundup, the payments and any payouts, with your name removed. If we ever paid you, we also keep the tax form you submitted. The law requires us to keep these records, usually for up to seven years. If an app’s money was still held for a post that hasn’t gone live, we refund it.
